Before children (boys) are admitted to our children home, our task is to get to know the children in need. Most of them are boys who live on the streets. This means that every child’s story is thoroughly investigated.
In doing so, we take into consideration the story of the child, their environment, and their relatives. To get a complete picture, we also consult with official representatives such as village leaders, social workers, and other government agencies.
If possible, the children are returned to their families and supported by LionHeart for an extended period.
If this is not possible for various reasons, they are admitted to our children home. Our children home offers these children the following:
-
Every child is given the opportunity to develop healthily in spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental aspects
-
Healthy food and clean drinking water, clothing, safe shelter
-
Access to a good education
-
Opportunity to discover their talents
-
Through the example of a personal relationship with Jesus and Christian teachings, the children are shaped by Christian values
-
Every child receives appropriate and professional medical care
-
Every child is given the opportunity to develop through team-building and group games
-
Children who have families or relatives should, whenever possible, be reunited with them or at least be able to maintain contact with them. Visitation schedules are arranged
These new perspectives bring about lasting change in young people. As a result, they will have a positive influence on their families and communities in the future.
