In 2024, we established a CBO (community-based organization).
This allowed us to operate officially in Kaabong. A CBO is merely a regional permit to operate, so for various reasons we decided to expand our status to that of an NGO (non-governmental organization), which is valid nationwide.
Since April 2025, we have been in the process of becoming an NGO, and from our end, everything has been completed since the end of May 2025. We expect to receive the corresponding certificate any moment now.
The NGO’s headquarters are in Kaabong with a mailing address in Moroto:
